I suppose he can't help himself he's been doing it for so long....

"Bush misses encounters with US military personnel" by James Prichard, Associated Press | May 29, 2009

BENTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Flying on Air Force One, eating meals prepared by the White House kitchen staff, and drawing inspiration from his encounters with US military personnel are among the things former President George W. Bush has missed since leaving office, he said yesterday.

"Frankly, it's a liberating feeling," he told seniors from Artesia High School"

Yup, STILL LYING even after he's out of office!

The often tearful meetings he had with relatives of fallen soldiers were "in some ways . . . very hard and in some ways, it was very uplifting," the Texas Republican said in a speech to the Economic Club of Southwestern Michigan at Lake Michigan College.

He's ill. He's mentally ill.

FLASHBACK:

"Bush wants 'romance' of fighting on front line"

"President Bush suggested fighting on the frontline was "romantic" during a video conference with US military and civilian personnel in the war-torn country.

"I must say, I'm a little envious," he said.

"If I were slightly younger and not employed here, I think it would be a fantastic experience to be on the front lines of helping this young democracy succeed.

Fuck the age, GO ANYWAY, shitter!

"It must be exciting for you ... in some ways romantic, in some ways, you know, confronting danger. You're really making history, and thanks."

Seriously, readers, what a FUCKING ASSHOLE!!!!!

Present day again:

About eight people protested Bush's appearance outside the venue, carrying signs that called him a murderer and a traitor....

May God Bless Them!

Bush spoke to 2,500 people about "the fog of war" that followed the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, the economic downturn, and his return to life as a regular citizen. "It was a roller-coaster of emotions, it really was," Bush said of the terror attacks. "I think about it now at times, but I definitely thought about it every day as president."

Here is how a real leader would have reacted: A Real Leader

Of course, because 9/11 was an INSIDE JOB and BUSH KNEW ALL ABOUT IT (otherwise he doesn't sit there reading a book), we get quite an opposite reaction: President Bush Speaks at Ground Zero

Oh, I miss those halcyon days when things were so simple; don't you, world?

He talked about the economy, blaming "a lack of responsible regulation" in the lending industry for the recession, and said that the Federal National Mortgage Association, known as Fannie Mae, and the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp., or Freddie Mac, shouldn't have engaged in certain financial practices. "I don't want to sound like a self-serving guy, but we did try to rein them in," Bush said.

That is EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE, asshole!!!!!

He also said he believes he was right to depose Iraqi president Saddam Hussein and that it may lead to the spread of democracy throughout the Middle East. The audience, which gave Bush a warm welcome at his arrival, cheered when he said he wanted to be remembered as a president who "showed up in office with a set of principles and he was unwilling to sacrifice his soul for the sake of popularity."

You needn't worry about your popularity because you have none, you mass-murdering, war-criminal fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!
