"Government urged to talk to Hamas
LONDON - Legislators urged the British government today to talk to moderates within Hamas, saying the West’s policy of shunning the Palestinian Islamist group was showing little sign of success. The British parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee said in a report that it stood by a recommendation it first made two years ago that the government should engage politically with moderate elements within Hamas, which rules the Gaza Strip. Britain and other Western nations reject contact with Hamas because of its refusal to recognize Israel, renounce violence, and accept existing interim peace deals (Reuters)."
You know, on those last three I was wondering WHEN is ISRAEL going to RECIPROCATE and DO LIKEWISE, hanh?
