I am against the killing; however, we must look and allow for culture. Not saying it is right, but we must attempt to understand other traditions before wrecking them with Americanization -- even when it is the right thing.

Especially when we are talking food. Veganism is the answer; however, one can understand the Japanese diet given the geography.
