Way Out in Left Field

Click.

Nothing is more discouraging than left-wing talk. I hear them in the car in the afternoons and they are worse than Rush.

I expect him to be a propagandists; I feel betrayed when it is my "friends" on the "left."
To try talking to them around the dinner table is a thankless chore every year.

"Leaning to the left, and hoping to be heard; WWZN radio host Jeff Santos airs on the side of liberals" by Johnny Diaz, Globe Staff | November 19, 2009

Massachusetts is a blue state. The governor and Boston’s mayor are Democrats. And some left-leaning heavyweights - including Governor Deval Patrick, US Representative Barney Frank, and former governor and presidential nominee Michael S. Dukakis - are in radio promos for the show.

But establishing a local liberal foothold on radio is no small feat in a sea of red. While a number of blogs, websites, and TV shows represent both liberal and conservative viewpoints, right-leaning shock jocks like Rush Limbaugh have dominated the national and local radio waves for decades. “The fact that we don’t have a progressive talk radio show in New England is pretty astonishing, given the political inclinations of this state,’’ Dukakis said....

No it is NOT!!!

The AMERICAN PEOPLE are NOT AS LIBERAL as THOU WOULD HAVE US BELIEVE!!!!!

The station’s midday and afternoon programs feature Stephanie Miller, Ed Schultz, and Thom Hartmann, leaders on the nationally syndicated progressive radio circuit....

Yeah, the SAME JOKERS that SUCK in the afternoon here!!!!

Fred Bayles, director of Boston University’s State House journalism program, said Bay State liberals may not listen to a show that veers completely left. “There is a misconception that this is a Democratic and liberal state,’’ Bayles said.’’ It’s not that lock step of just everybody being liberals and professing liberal thought.’’

No, FAR FROM IT!

I may dare say they are truly a MINORITY -- at least out here!!!!
