Courting China

It is not like I am going to defend the Chinese government (or any government); however, I OBJECT to the HYPOCRITICAL TONE of the enemy-creating, agenda-pushing AmeriKan MSM when it comes to some of these issues.

I mean WE'S TORTURES and INVADES people, so WHO ARE WE TO CAST STONES on ANYONE?

"Something many of my expat friends in China are always talking about. They say they find it ridiculous that China is viewed as this incredibly oppressive place where the government is spying on you all the time and concerned with your littlest actions. They oftentimes like to tell me that China actually has more freedoms than the United States or England"

OUCH, America!

"Chinese dissident goes on trial, with outsiders barred; Faces 15 years in jail after calls for reforms" by Cara Anna, Associated Press | December 24, 2009

BEIJING - A dozen diplomats, including from the United States, Britain, Germany, Australia, and Canada, stood outside the Beijing courthouse in freezing weather....

Where is global warming when you need it?

In Washington, State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley sharply criticized the trial:

These kind of actions - clearly a political trial that will likely lead to a political conviction - are uncharacteristic of a great country.’’

Then WHAT is the U.S. EXCUSE for thir SHOW TRIALS of TORTURED TERRORISTS, huh?

WE are NO LONGER a GREAT COUNTRY, AmeriKa!!

A news blackout and Internet censorship have left most Chinese unaware it exists....

Don't even start with me, MSM!

Is that the same as your omissions, distortions, obfuscations, or lies in service to Zionist power?

Liu is charged with inciting to subvert state power, a vague charge routinely used to jail dissidents....

Given that the U.S. has INDEFINITELY DETAINED innocent people and may hold them forever with NO CHARGES, I find it hard to get worked up over what China does.

That is for the CHINESE PEOPLE to DECIDE!!!

And I get the feeling this guy was/is a U.S. asset given all the MSM attention

"Chinese court sentences dissident to 11 years in jail" by Cara Anna, Associated Press | December 25, 2009

BEIJING - A Chinese court sentenced a prominent dissident to 11 years in jail today on subversion charges after he called for sweeping political reforms and an end to Communist Party dominance. The sentencing of Liu Xiaobo comes despite international appeals for his release, which China sternly rejected as interference in its internal affairs....

Which it is!

Can you IMAGINE U.S REACTION if people tried to meddle in OUR TRIALS?

And we get a THIRD DAY of coverage?

"China denounced over dissident’s sentence; Verdict viewed as sign of political progress stalling" by Steven Mufson, Washington Post | December 26, 2009

Did I mention that the
Washington Post is the CIA 's newspaper?

BEIJING - Western diplomats and international human rights groups yesterday denounced China’s decision to sentence the country’s leading dissident, Liu Xiaobo, to 11 years in prison.

The verdict was a sign that the Chinese Communist Party will continue to stifle domestic political critics, especially those who seek to organize their fellow Chinese, the diplomats and rights activists said. It also suggested that political modernization might not go hand in hand with China’s economic modernization, contrary to past predictions by Chinese dissidents, US business executives, and political analysts.

A COLD WAR with CHINA?!!! Say GOODBYE to your DOLLAR, America.

A court found the 53-year-old literary scholar guilty of “inciting subversion to state power’’ through his writings and role in Charter 08, a petition advocating human rights, free speech, and an end to one-party rule. “You can think democracy, you can talk democracy, but you can’t do democracy’’ in China, said Li Fan, director of the World and China Institute in Beijing.

That's funny because WE DON'T EVEN HAVE a DEMOCRACY in AmeriKa! We have a FASCIST GOVERNMENT that does the OPPOSITE of WHAT WE WANT!

And yet here we are CRITICIZING?

“It certainly seems to reflect a high level of sensitivity and very low level of tolerance,’’ said Rebecca MacKinnon, a fellow at the Open Society Institute and cofounder of GlobalVoicesOnline.org. “The chances of political reform taking place today seem lower than they did in the late ’90s.’’

Gee, and other nation can we say that about?

What little stain in the center of the Middle East fits that description, huh?

A decade ago, she said, “there was a great deal of optimism’’ about village elections, plans for separating party and state functions, and talk of other political changes. Many analysts said a more open society would yield a more open political system. But reform initiatives have stalled, and there was little evidence of openness in the handling of Liu’s case this week....

The Secrets of Obama

You were saying, MSM?

The judge also barred journalists and foreign diplomats from attending.

Oh, THAT is why it got THREE DAY COVERAGE and the COMPLAINTS in the western MSM!

In contrast to the 1990s, when visits by international envoys often brought the release of dissidents, China has ignored calls by the Obama administration and other Western governments for Liu’s release.

“As far as we can tell, this man’s crime was simply signing a piece of paper that aspires to a more open and participatory form of government. That is not a crime,’’ said P.J. Crowley, a spokesman for the State Department. “These kind of actions - clearly a political trial that will likely lead to a political conviction - are uncharacteristic of a great country.’’

That is the SECOND TIME in THREE DAYS I saw that quote!

**************************

Mo Shaoping, a prominent human rights lawyer, said that the success of the 2008 Olympics, the economic crisis in the West, and the 60th anniversary of the communist takeover had made the Chinese government “more and more arrogant’’ toward international critics....

But they CAN NEVER TOP USrael!!!

One of Liu’s brothers, Liu Xiaoxuan, said the prosecutors focused on 350 words collected from a half-dozen of the 490 articles Liu wrote over a five-year period.

Oh, government took things out of context, huh?

Ever read an AmeriKan newspaper?

In those excerpts, Liu Xiaobo sharply criticized the Chinese government, calling it a dictatorship that sought to use patriotism to fool people into loving the government rather than the country, the brother said.

Then AmeriKa IS a DICTATORSHIP!!!

That is EXACTLY what has been happening in the United States since those FALSE FLAG ATTACKS of 9/11!

Liu Xiaoxuan, a professor of material engineering at Guangdong University of Technology, said his brother told the court that the country’s “progress can’t cover up the mistakes you’ve made and the flaws of your institutions.’’

I'd settle for just progress here in AmeriKa!

Other signatories of Charter 08 also are facing government harassment.

In America you need not worry because the people don't care so they are not really harassed -- unless they do.

Zhang Zuhua, primary drafter of the manifesto, is under heavy police surveillance at his home. Others have lost prize research or teaching posts.

Ever hear of Norman Finkelstein, MSM?

Hey, the guy should consider himself lucky. He could have gotten much worse.

BEIJING - A Chinese court has handed down death sentences for five people convicted of participating in the ethnic violence last July that killed nearly 200 people in the far western region of Xinjiang, authorities announced yesterday.

The sentences, after a series of trials this week, bring to 22 the number of people given the death penalty since trials began in September....

In recent months public security officials have detained more than 800 people who they say played a role in rioting that pitted the region’s Han Chinese majority against the Turkic-speaking Uighurs. Officials say more than 1,600 people were injured during the three days of unrest, which deeply unnerved the ruling Communist Party.

Related: Sticking It to China

Those convicted in trials on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the statement, were guilty of “extremely serious crimes.’’ It described several defendants, all with Uighur names, who attacked Han residents as they drove or bicycled through the city, bludgeoning and stoning them. Most of the dead were Han, although a small number of Uighurs were killed during retaliatory violence in the days that followed....

In a place that had not really known such violence; in fact, it was know for its peace.

And CUI BONO?

WHO would like to have China bogged down on its western border so they can not assist Iran as easily in the event of an USraeli attack?

Uighur exile groups and rights advocates have criticized the judicial proceedings as lacking transparency. They also assert that scores of Uighurs have been held incommunicado and without legal representation....

I didn't know they were staying at Gitmo.

And WHO KNEW a BRITISH INTELLIGENT AGENT was RUNNING DRUGS?

Not like the COVER-UP MSM of AmeriKa would ever tell you that.

"Despite family pleas, China executes British drug smuggler; Prime minister condemns death sentence" by Ng Han Guan, Associated Press | December 29, 2009

URUMQI, China - China today executed a British man convicted of drug smuggling in its first execution of a European citizen in half a century, drawing a strong condemnation from Britain’s prime minister.

Britain’s Foreign Office confirmed the execution of Akmal Shaikh, whose relatives say was mentally unstable and was unwittingly lured into the crime.

How come SO MANY WESTERNERS are IDIOTS, huh?

Either that or WE ARE BEING LIED TO CONSTANTLY by our CONCEALING and COVERING-UP MSM, America!

“I condemn the execution of Akmal Shaikh in the strongest terms, and am appalled and disappointed that our persistent requests for clemency have not been granted. I am particularly concerned that no mental health assessment was undertaken,’’ British Prime Minister Gordon Brown said in a statement issued by the Foreign Office.

So what are you going to do? Bomb and invade China to make a point of your drug-dealing spook (if that is what this is even about; I'm relying on my newspaper after all)?

Shaikh, 53, was the first European citizen to be executed in China in five decades. His visiting cousins say he is mentally unstable and was lured to China from a life on the street in Poland by men playing on his dreams to record a pop song for world peace.

PFFFFFT!!

I'm sorry, but the SPY COVER STORY STINKS!!!!!!!

Shaikh was arrested in 2007 for carrying a suitcase with almost 9 pounds of heroin into China on a flight from Tajikistan.... It was not known how Shaikh, who is of Pakistani descent, was executed. China executes more people than any other country....

Not including the MASS-MURDERING WARS, of course!

Then USrael has FAR and AWAY the LEADER!!

Britain had accused Chinese officials of not taking Shaikh’s mental health concerns into account during the trial, as required by law....

Go blow, Gordo!

Shaikh’s family says the small business owner from London was lured to China by two men who promised that they would help him launch a career in pop music. A preliminary psychological report commissioned by Reprieve said Shaikh’s actions “were most likely influenced by some form of delusional psychosis.’’

Two British diplomats were accompanying the brothers but said they were not authorized to speak to journalists.

Checking on their spy, no doubt!

And MAYBE the CHINESE are ON TO SOMETHING, 'eh, readers?

BEIJING - A Chinese businesswoman was sentenced to death yesterday for cheating investors out of $56 million - the latest case in the country’s struggle against widespread corruption.

Oh, I think this is a GREAT IDEA!!!!!!! Then the STEALING WILL STOP!!!

Wu Ying, 28, started out a decade ago with a single beauty salon but eventually built up a holding group, Bense Holdings, that was known around the country, the state-run Xinhua News Agency reported....

In China, the death penalty is used even for nonviolent crimes such as corruption or tax evasion.

That "nonviolent" part is a matter of opinion.

The body may not be dammaged, but I REGARD FINANCIAL CRIMES as VIOLENCE to the SPIRIT and SOUL of a person!!

The country’s highest court, which reviews all death sentences, this year called for it to be used less often and for only the most serious criminal cases. Amnesty International has said China put at least 1,718 people to death in 2008. The Intermediate People’s Court in Jinhua city, eastern Zhejiang Province, said Wu used the money for personal use and operating costs and to pay off loans. The Xinhua report said Wu confessed but then retracted her confession in April.

And here is a different kind of courting, readers:

TAICHUNG, Taiwan - “Peaceful development between the two sides is the overwhelming trend. No one can stand in its way,’’ Chinese delegation leader Chen Yunlin said.

But I will bet the U.S. sure as hell will try!

Since taking office in May 2008, Harvard-educated President Ma Ying-jeou has eased tensions across the 100-mile-wide Taiwan Strait to their lowest level in 60 years, turning his back on predecessor Chen Shui-Bian’s pro-independence policies. The sides split amid civil war in 1949, and Beijing has made political unification with the island - achieved by force if necessary - the core of its Taiwan policy ever since....

So OUR GUY is BUCKING US for the interests of his own nation?

How refreshing!

And see the MSM subtly jab at China?

When was the LAST TIME CHINA INVADED ANYBODY?

1959?

Ma has pushed a raft of business-boosting initiatives, including regular air and sea links with the mainland and ending across-the-board restrictions on Chinese investment in Taiwan. He argues that a trade deal with China is necessary to prevent Taiwan’s economic marginalization amid growing commercial ties between Beijing and neighboring Asian countries. Washington strongly supports Ma’s approach.

That is the OFFICIAL POSITION of the government. I'm sure they do NOT LIKE closer relations in this case despite what the liars say.

Despite withdrawing its formal diplomatic recognition of China from the Taipei government and shifting it to Beijing in 1979, it remains the most important foreign partner of democratic Taiwan. However, it fears being drawn into any armed conflict that Beijing threatens in response to moves to formalize Taiwan’s de facto independence, and it sees Ma’s policies as strongly reducing that possibility....

Since WHEN has the U.S. and it's Zionist masters been AFRAID of WAR?!

Puh-leeze, MSM!

Hundreds of protesters gathered outside the hotel in the central Taiwanese city of Taichung where the meetings were taking place, albeit far fewer than when Chen first visited Taiwan for talks last year. Scores of police officers guarded barricades to prevent a reoccurrence of the violence that marred that initial meeting....

Yeah, those are OUR OPERATIVES outside the hotel, America!!!

"Raytheon gets $1.1b Taiwan contract" by Bloomberg News | December 24, 2009

Raytheon Co., the world’s largest missile maker, has won contracts totaling $1.1 billion to produce the Patriot Air and Missile Defense System for Taiwan....

A BILLION DOLLARS for something that doesn't even work!

The US Defense Department in October 2008 proposed making $6.46 billion worth of weapons sales to Taiwan, including the most advanced Patriot antimissile system. Taiwan received $18.3 billion in US arms under the Foreign Military Sales program from 1950 to 2006. Raytheon had 2008 sales of about $23.2 billion.

They aren't hurting, huh, America?

"Britons condemn execution in China" by Los Angeles Times | December 30, 2009

LONDON - China’s execution of British citizen Akmal Shaikh on drug-dealing charges early yesterday provoked an outcry of revulsion around Britain....

I don't hear or see China complaining about all the Iraqis the Brits butchered over lies. Doesn't mean they are not saying it; MSM wouldn't tell me anyway!

Foreign Office Minister Ivan Lewis said he told Chinese ambassador Fu Ying that “.... China had failed in its basic human rights responsibilities in this case....’’

And the BRITISH MASS-MURDER and TORTURE over LIES as well as their FALSE-FLAGGING HISTORY?

Did you hear a Foreign Office pffffft, readers?

In Beijing, the Foreign Ministry expressed “strong dissatisfaction and opposition’’ to the British accusation. “We urge the British side to correct its wrongdoing to avoid causing damages to bilateral relations,’’ ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu said.....

Yeah, the CHINESE have NEVER FORGOTTEN (or forgiven, nor should they) the OPIUM EPIDEMIC the BRITISH FOISTED UPON THEM so the empire could CARVE UP CHINA into SPHERES of INFLUENCE for EUROPEAN COLONIALISTS!!

Shaikh’s family had repeatedly said his behavior clearly showed he suffered from bipolar disorder.

I, for one, am SICK of WEAK-ASS, LAME-S*** EXCUSES and COVER STORIES put out by GOVERNMENTS and transmitted by MSM MEGAPHONES!

They were backed up by independent assessments from social workers in Poland, where Shaikh had lived for two years before his ill-fated trip to China in September 2007, where he was caught carrying nearly 9 pounds of heroin into the country.

PFFFFTT!

I don't care who BACKED UP the MI-6 DRUG RUNNERS ILLNESS!

This also fits in with the theme and ties up this post:

SHANGHAI - Chinese officials misused or embezzled about $35 billion in government money in the first 11 months of the year, according to a national audit released this week.

Wow, AMERIKA'S BANKSTER VAMPIRES CLOBBERED 'EM!

They STOLE NEARLY $24 TRILLION!!!!

Better RAMP UP the EXECUTIONS, China!!!!

A GOOD EXAMPLE for YOU, America!!!!

The announcement is the latest indication of how widespread corruption has become among government agencies and how difficult it will be for Beijing to root it out....

Yeah, it seems to be IMPOSSIBLE HERE in AmeriKa!

You need ONLY LOOK at the BANKS, WAR-LOOTERS, and CORPORATE CONGLOMERATES that BUY OFF GOVERNMENT TAX LOOT with KICKBACK CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS!!!

But thank the stars we are better than China!

Auditors said government officials engaged in everything from money laundering and issuing fraudulent loans to cheating the government through the sale or purchase of state land or mining rights.

And JUST HOW is the UNITED STATES different from China?

In fact, we are RIFE and RAMPANT with CORRUPTION JUST LIKE THIS

Criminals are now more intelligent, and covert,’’ Liu Jiayi, the director of the National Audit Office, was quoted as saying in the state-run news media.

Yeah, because it is a ZIONIST MOB now!

See: The Boston Globe is a Mouthpiece For the Jewish Mafia

Boston Globe Protecting Jewish Mafia

The Autistic Informant

Yes, the OMISSIONS and OBFUSCATIONS speak LOUDER than WORDS!

Analysts say the Communist Party faces significant hurdles in trying to curtail corruption.

Yeah, try this one on for size.

Every year Beijing announces new anticorruption drives, new laws, and new policies aimed at dealing with the problem. But every year the scale of fraud seems enormous, particularly in a country where the average person earns less than $50 a week.

Gee, we have the SAME PHENOMENON HERE -- and our declining dollar is linking up the pay!!!

In 2005, for instance, the National Audit Office reported finding about $35 billion worth of government funds misused or embezzled.

I'm sure AmeriKa's was IN the TRILLIONS!!!
