Stop & Shop's Scabs

Scan this, shoppers!

"As part of a strike contingency plan, Stop & Shop has placed help-wanted ads for workers"

Yeah, use that unemployment against your loyal workers.

Not too good, huh?

"Stop & Shop union set to vote on new contract; Strike possible as negotiations go on" by Chris Reidy, Globe Staff | February 20, 2010

A union representing Stop & Shop Supermarket Co. employees has scheduled a vote tomorrow to determine whether to approve a new contract or go on strike.

In negotiations, Stop & Shop has yet to agree to pay raises while asking employees to make larger contributions to health care and pension plans, says the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 1445, which represents cashiers, baggers, meat cutters, and deli clerks among other employees working in the chain’s Eastern Massachusetts stores....

According to Local 1445, Stop & Shop is asking workers to make a sacrifice at a time when the chain’s profits are rising....

Sigh.

I'm not crossing a picket line.

As part of a strike contingency plan, Stop & Shop has placed help-wanted ads for workers....

Going to try and break the union, a**holes?

I guess that is easier when you don't know them and don't come into contact with them.
