Occupation Iraq: Iran Controls Iraq

I've so had it with the war-promoting garbage from my agenda-pushing newspaper.

Did IRAN travel halfway across the world to invade and occupy the place over lies?

The U.S. and war press screaming on this issue is like Iran raging about our relationship with Canada.

They are NEIGHBORS fer crying out loud!

And setting all that aside, I would just like to ask all Americans reading this if the BILLIONS and BUCKETS of BLOOD were WORTH THIS RESULT after SEVEN YEARS of LIES!!?

How come EVERYTHING USrael has been doing lately has BACKFIRED in the EXTREME!?

"US urged to help break Iraq deadlock" by Associated Press  |  September 28, 2010

UNITED NATIONS — Iraq’s foreign minister urged the United States yesterday to take a more active role in breaking the deadlock over formation of a new government, saying the nearly seven-month election stalemate has not only left the country in limbo but also hurt its economy.

Yeah, THAT'S OKAY!

Hoshyar Zebari said that since the pullout of US combat forces at the end of August, Iraqi security forces have proved that they are taking responsibility. But while there hasn’t been a security vacuum, he added, the failure to form a government is creating serious problems.

“Lack of efforts of government formation has been very negative on all aspects of life,’’ Zebari said....

Zebari said there has been “an important positive result’’ of the delay in forming a government.
It shows “that the Iraqi leaders, that the new Iraq, will not budge to foreign pressures, not to Iran, not to the United States, not to Arab countries, not to Turkey,’’ he said....

Yeah, tell that to the occupying forces pulling your strings.

"Shi’ite leader accuses Iran of fomenting unrest in Iraq; Raps rivals for overtures to Tehran; On trip, Maliki to solicit support" by Lara Jakes, Associated Press  |  October 18, 2010

BAGHDAD — The leader of the Iraqi bloc that came first in elections accused Iran yesterday of trying to destabilize Iraq and manipulate the political process as he jeered at rival politicians seeking Tehran’s blessing for forming the next government.

Hey, the SAME THING the U.S. INVASION DID and DOES!!!

Ayad Allawi, a secular Shi’ite, narrowly won the most seats in the March 7 vote with strong Sunni backing, but did not get nearly enough to control the government outright. That allowed his chief rival, Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, to sideline the Iraqiya political party that Allawi heads by forming a Shi’ite-dominated alliance similar to the current government and close to Iran....

And the AmeriKan media and government called it a VICTORY!

WE AIN'T LEAVING, folks!

That's what is BEHIND THESE PIECES of PROPAGANDA!!!

Allawi told the Al-Arabiya satellite TV channel that Iran should get out of Iraqi politics and “not impose or support one faction over the other.’’

So should the U.S.

In fact, we should GET OUT of THEIR COUNTRY!!

Allawi’s remarks were a clear jab at Maliki, who heads to Iran today as he scrambles for enough Shi’ite support to keep his job. There were also new indications that Maliki’s efforts to enlist Sunni allies in the region are falling short.

Thus the wikileaks.

Everything you see in the paper is an agenda-pushing piece of garbage.

The king of neighboring Jordan pointedly avoided endorsing the Iraqi prime minister for a second term in a statement yesterday.

Keep that in kind for later.

The developments injected new doubt that Iraq’s political mess will be resolved anytime soon. It has been more than seven months since parliamentary elections failed to produce a clear winner and the country is still without a government.

Allawi has threatened to boycott the next government if Maliki remains in office, although US diplomats are trying to broker a detente that would give the Iraqiya leader some power and key ministry jobs if he backs down.

So they can BLOCK SADR!

Maliki recently clinched support from hard-line Shi’ite political parties close to Iran.

Are you scared yet, Americans? Do you even care?

With that, and assuming he is backed as expected by a key Kurdish coalition, he will have enough allies to remain in office.

I wouldn't be too sure of that.

Maliki’s State of Law coalition this month won the support of Muqtada al-Sadr, the anti-American Shi’ite cleric. Muqtada also has sought support from neighboring Syria and Iran.

In television interviews aired yesterday, Allawi accused Iran of fomenting unrest in Iraq, Lebanon, and among Palestinians. He said Mideast nations are “falling victim to . . . terrorists who are definitely Iran-financed.’’

***************

Maliki will meet today with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

But the prime minister dearly wants support from Sunnis too, in part because of strong pressure from the United States to foster a new government that represents all Iraq’s major political factions.

Yeah, it is OKAY for the HYPOCRITICAL U.S. to BRING PRESSURE!

He will visit Turkey and Egypt next week....

That's more about Iraq independence than us, American.

Arab states have been deeply concerned about the influence of Shi’ite power Iran in Iraq and across the Middle East. Jordan’s ruler has been a particularly vocal critic of the Shi’ite-led government in Baghdad. In 2004, Abdullah warned about the emergence of a “Shi’ite crescent’’ including Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon.

I hope you complicit Arab stooges burn in hell for the war-mongering!

Oh, he may not have long.

How come ALL OUR ALLIED LEADERS are SUCH SHITS, Americans!

Ahmadinejad called the Jordanian king last Tuesday. The state media said discussions focused on Iraq and other regional matters, but did not elaborate. Government officials declined to say Ahmadinejad asked Abdullah to support Maliki....

Also yesterday, the US Embassy in Baghdad issued a new warning that Americans and other Westerners who live and work in Iraq — and especially in Baghdad — may be kidnapping targets.

Media just SETTING the STAGE for the NEXT WAVE of PROPAGANDA and FALSE FLAG ATTACKS!

The statement followed similar warnings on Sept. 14 and Sept. 25 that cautioned US citizens against traveling in Iraq’s mostly Shi’ite south.

The new warning “applies to all parts of Iraq, especially Baghdad,’’ the statement said.

So when do the abductions begin?

TEHRAN — Iran gave its clearest nod of support to Iraq’s prime minister yesterday as he seeks to line up backing from key neighbors in his bid to remain in office....

Iran plays a critical role in Iraqi affairs and in the Shi’ite-led coalition of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, who is making his first visit to Tehran since Iraq’s indecisive March elections.

As if AmeriKa did not.

Iran has the power to sway Maliki’s political fortunes through its deep ties to Iraq’s major Shi’ite factions, which have dominated government offices and security forces since the US-led invasion toppled Iran’s arch foe, Saddam Hussein, in 2003.

Yeah, I'm sure Iran thanks us for that last one.

And WHO KNEW IRAN DOMINATED IRAQ during the OCCUPATION and SUCCESSFUL SURGE, et al.

Readers, are YOU as TIRED of the DOUBLESPEAK GARBAGE passing as NEWS in AmeriKa as I am?

Maliki’s coalition is close to securing enough allies for a majority in Parliament....

Maliki held meetings with other Iranian officials and was to travel to the Shi’ite religious center of Qom, where one of his important allies lives in self-exile.

As would any leader.

The pact with anti-American cleric Moqtada al-Sadr was critical for Maliki, but it has alarmed Washington because of Sadr’s former militia ties and his likely demands for key roles in a new government....

US State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley said Washington was also worried about what he called Iranian “meddling’’ in the formation of a new Iraqi government.

Did IRAN TRAVEL HALFWAY AROUND the WORLD to INVADE and OCCUPY the place OVER LIES?

This is the same U.S. that is MEDDLING by REFUSING to acknowledge Sadr, right?

Yeah, the HYPOCRISY sure does STINK!

More stench:

BAGHDAD — American influence has so dwindled in Iraq over the past several months that Iraqi lawmakers and political leaders say they no longer follow Washington’s advice for forming a government.

Instead, Iraqis are turning to neighboring nations, and especially Iran, for guidance — casting doubt on the future of the US role in this strategic country after a grinding war that has killed more than 4,400 US soldiers.

“The Iraqi politicians are not responding to the US like before. We don’t pay great attention to them,’’ Shi’ite lawmaker Sami al-Askari, a close ally of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, said yesterday. “The weak American role has given the region’s countries a greater sense of influence on Iraqi affairs.’’

Vice President Biden, the administration’s point man for Iraq, has doggedly lobbied Iraqi leaders, both on the phone and in six trips here over the past two years.

But Iraqis measure US influence largely by military presence, which was down to 50,000 troops in late August, a reduction of more than two-thirds from the war’s peak. As a result, Baghdad is now brushing off US urgings to slow-walk a new government instead of rushing one through that might cater to Iran.

So now we know why NO GOVERNMENT has been formed -- and the mouthpiece media made it seem like AmeriKa was pushing them to form one.

It's ALL AGENDA-PUSHING LIES, America!!

When you PICK up a NEWSPAPER in AmeriKa THAT is what you are GETTING!

US officials initially encouraged the Iraqis to form a government quickly but recently started pushing for a slowdown because a party led by anti-American cleric Moqtada al-Sadr appears poised to play a major role.

Yeah, DEMOCRACY is only good when YOU ELECT WHO WE WANT YOU TO ELECT!

“The Iranian ambassador has a bigger role in Iraq than Biden,’’ said a prominent Kurdish lawmaker, Mahmoud Othman. He said the Americans “will leave Iraq with its problems; thus their influence has become weak.’’

I don't think we are ever leaving because we never do, but believe the bulls*** if you want.

One problem which could worsen as a result is the sectarian divide — particularly if the secular but Sunni-backed Iraqiya political coalition, which won the most votes in the March election, is left out of a new Shi’ite-led government led by Maliki and supported by Sadr.

Sorry, but I NO LONGER BUY SECTARIANISM after the INTERMARRYING and MOSQUES that STOOD FOR CENTURIES without being blown up.

The Real Muqtada al-Sadr

Sunnis wouldn't like Sadr, huh?

Many Iraqis, particularly minority Sunnis, would view such a government as “blessed by Iran and evidence of America’s relative weakness,’’ analyst Michael Knights wrote on the website of The Washington Institute for Near East Policy. This perception could lead to a surge in violence.

Oh, another Zionist outfit influencing U.S. policy.

Yup, that's what my newspaper turns to for sources!

But Iraq cannot afford to completely ignore what Washington wants.

Isn't that the POINT I HAVE BEEN MAKING the WHOLE TIME?

Doing so could bring the end of US help and financial backing to broker $13 billion worth of contracts for military equipment.

Oh, it would JEOPARDIZE WAR-LOOTERS PROFITS!

That is what the U.S. CONCERN IS!!!

It also would all but dash any hopes by Baghdad to renegotiate a security agreement that is set to expire at the end of 2011 — a step needed to keep some US forces in Iraq to continue training its fledgling air force and protect its borders.

Like I said: WE ARE NEVER LEAVING!

Note where the PROPAGANDA PRESS starts mentioning the REALITIES on the GROUND, folks!

Had to SIFT THROUGH SO MUCH SHIT just to get an OBFUSCATORY REFERENCE!!

A senior Iraqi military official predicted the new government, once it is settled, ultimately will ask US troops to remain beyond next year.
