Flying to Fukushima

That's odd; there is no mention of it in the flight brochure known as the Boston Globe:

Japan Airlines sets Hub-Tokyo service

Japan Airlines will begin flying nonstop from Tokyo to Logan International Airport next year, an addition that is expected to give a significant economic boost to Boston, the biggest US market without nonstop service to Asia.

Yeah, that was TODAY'S FRONT PAGE!

No article about the ongoing disaster at Fukushima (unlike the daily drumbeats regarding the Libyan war and potential war on Syria).

"Japan plant damage even wider; Fuel probably melted in 3 units, operator admits" May 25, 2011|By Hiroko Tabuchi, New York Times

TOKYO — In a belated acknowledgment of the severity of Japan’s nuclear disaster, the Tokyo Electric Power Company said yesterday that three of the stricken Fukushima Daiichi plant’s reactors probably suffered fuel meltdowns in the early days of the crisis.

Probably?

The plant’s operator also said that it was possible the pressure vessels in the three stricken reactors, which house the uranium fuel rods, had been breached as well. But most of the fuel remained inside the vessels, the company said — far from a more severe nuclear meltdown in which molten fuel penetrates the ground, a calamity known as the “China Syndrome.’’

(Blog editor's chin drops to chest as he heaves a great sigh at the fact that they are STILL LYING!!!!!!!)

Also yesterday, a team from the International Atomic Energy Agency, the nuclear oversight body of the UN, began an investigation into Japan’s handling of the accident, amid criticism that a slow response made matters worse....

Yup, it has been one long lie and obfuscation from the start -- like everything you find in today's AmeriKan newspapers!

Yesterday’s disclosure by Tokyo Electric Power, the operator of the stricken Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station, could delay efforts to bring the plant’s reactors under control....

Yeah, did I mention the thing is STILL LEAKING RADIATION and HAS BEEN the WHOLE TIME?

It is also likely to trigger more criticism over what many critics have called a lack of timely disclosure by Tokyo Electric, and by the Japanese government, of important details of the accident. Prime Minister Naoto Kan has apologized in Parliament for fanning public mistrust.

“We take this disclosure very seriously. But what’s important now is our response,’’ said Goshi Hosono, who heads the Japanese government’s nuclear crisis task force.

Pfft!

Yeah, forget the lies and eat more s***!!!!!!!!!

“Though we now know the situation is very severe, the fuel still remains inside the reactors,’’ Hosono said....

Shouldn't you be honorably putting a sword in your stomach, sir?

Specialists had long suggested that meltdowns occurred at the three reactors after a tsunami knocked out power for their cooling systems, causing the nuclear fuel at the reactors’ cores to overheat.

Oh, really?  NOT in my NEWSPAPER!  We WERE TOLD this was no Chernobyl, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah!!!

So not only are they obfuscating, omitting, and lying to you, dear readers, they INSULTING the hell out of you by thinking you are a MINDLESS IDIOT who can not remember anything previous!

No wonder the newspaper industry is dying!

And the Globe is about to get ONE LESS CUSTOMER!

But many of the details of how the accident unfolded remain murky....

That is a CODE WORD for COVER-UP!

"the truth lies buried in the murky world of spies."

Why Am I No Longer Reading the Newspaper?

Seeing through the murk yet?

And speaking of memories:

"Justice Dept. errors cited in WWII-era internment" May 25, 2011|By Mark Sherman, Associated Press

WASHINGTON — Nearly 70 years after the Supreme Court upheld the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II, the government’s top high court lawyer says one of his predecessors concealed critical information that could have tipped the cases.

Will it take 70 years to come clean about the torture of innocent Muslims?

In a distinctly 21st century way of acknowledging a serious mistake from long ago, acting Solicitor General Neal Katyal posted a remarkable entry on the Justice Department’s blog saying the solicitor general at the time, Charles Fahy, acted dishonorably in defending the convictions of Gordon Hirabayashi and Fred Korematsu for violating an order to report to an internment camp....

:-)

The battle is over; blogs have won.

The information presented by Katyal is not new, though it is not widely remembered....

I'm just wondering whose fault is that, AmeriKan media and educational institutions?

Because you guys are too busy bending over backward in service to Jewish supremacism?
