I've Reached My Limit With the Globe and Congress

Can you blame me?

"Vote to launch debt ceiling debate; House planning to reject measure sought by Obama" by Paul Kane, Washington Post / May 31, 2011

WASHINGTON — After the vote fails, the focus will return to a bipartisan group of six congressional leaders who have been in private talks with Vice President Joe Biden to come up with a massive spending cut package and allow the debt ceiling to rise

Medicare Vote Meant Nothing

Both sides say they will easily exceed $1 trillion in cuts, with the vice president suggesting that number is only a “down payment’’ to agreement on much greater reductions by the August deadline....

Of course, the WARS and FASCIST SECURITY STATE will be seeing INCREASED AMOUNTS even if termed a cut.

What they are talking about is GUTTING SOCIAL SECURITY (trust fund already been stolen anyway) and HEALTH CARE!

Early proposals for whittling down spending include a plan to drop federal agriculture subsidies and to require larger employee contributions to the pension system for nonmilitary federal workers....

Good luck with the farm belt subsidies, and so much for taking care of workers.

The Republican plan would actually increase federal deficits by more than $5.4 trillion over 10 years....

I don't know how they can know that; however, if true the U.S.S. Titanic has taken on way too much water -- and it is still gushing into the hold!
