"FAMILY SLAIN IN FLORIDA -- A Port St. John woman fatally shot her four children, ages 12 to 17, Tuesday before killing herself. Three of the children went to a neighbor for help before dawn, saying they had been shot, then went back to their house when their mother, Tonya Thomas, 33, called them. She then shot them dead, said a spokesman for the Brevard County sheriff's office. Another neighbor said Thomas sent a text message in the middle of the night saying she wanted to be cremated with her children. They were identified as Pebbles, 17; Jaxs, 15; Jazzlyn, 13; and Joel, 12 (Boston Globe May 16 2012)."
