"Easthampton man dies from balcony fall
A 24-year-old Easthampton man died from injuries after falling from a sixth-floor balcony of the Walter Salvo House in Northampton early Saturday morning, according to a statement from the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office. Brandon Lafreniere fell at approximately 3 a.m. and was taken to Cooley Dickinson Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Mary Carey, communications director for the DA’s office, said in the statement. No foul play is suspected, and State Police and Northampton police are investigating, Carey said."
