After watching those videos there really is nothing left to say about the shovelfuls of propaganda I am receiving from my pre$$:

"Dozens held in antiterrorist raids across Europe; About 30 jailed" by Raf Casert and Angela Charlton, Associated Press  January 17, 2015

BRUSSELS — President Francois Hollande said France was ‘‘waging war’’ on terrorism and it showed on the streets of Paris and elsewhere, where 122,000 police and well-armed troops have been deployed to protect the country, which is on high alert.

Illustrating the sense of high anxiety, a bomb scare forced Paris to evacuate its busy Gare de l’Est train station during Friday’s morning rush hour, though no explosives were found. A man also briefly took two hostages at a post office northwest of Paris, but police said the man had mental issues and no links to terror.

The psyops never stop!

Remarking on the heavy weapons carried by police officers close to the Louvre, 20-year-old Mimi George, a student visiting from Australia, said just seeing them was “quite scary.’’

The Belgian government, meanwhile, announced it was sending army troops into the streets beginning Saturday, part of a 12-point, antiterrorism plan lawmakers agreed to in the wake of Thursday’s deadly firefight. The government will also expand legislation to make traveling abroad with a terror goal a crime and allowing authorities to seize the ID cards of people suspected of traveling to such areas.

Something real bad is coming, and it has nothing to do with "terror."

So lying, war-criminal world leaders can now be charged with a crime, huh?

The Belgian government’s move was welcomed in the port of Antwerp, which has a sizable Jewish community.

‘‘You don’t have the firepower to stop people with weapons of warfare,’’ unless troops are involved, Antwerp Mayor Bart De Wever said. ‘‘We have an important Jewish community in this city which is very visible and an important target for Islamic terror.’’

Again, once you know what is really going on an the level of psyop propaganda spewed throughout the pri$m of the jew$media, this stuff becomes completely rank and disgusting.

In Germany, Interior Ministry spokesman Tobias Plate spoke of an ‘‘abstract high danger’’ after the arrests in Berlin of two men suspected of recruiting fighters for the Islamic State group in Syria.

That's to keep you shitting your pants so they can surveil your dung.

"Charlie Hebdo cartoon sparks deadly violence in Muslim countries" by Adil Jawad and Rebecca Santana, Associated Press  January 17, 2015

KARACHI, Pakistan — A French cultural center was set ablaze by protesters in the town of Zinder in southern Niger, and one security officer and three demonstrators were killed, said Interior Minister Hassoumi Massaoudou. Another 20 security officers and 23 civilians were injured, he said.

How do you say agent provocateur in French?

Many of the protests across the Muslim world began after midday prayers Friday, Islam’s holy day. Demonstrations were held in the Pakistani cities of Karachi, Lahore, and the capital, Islamabad.

Clashes erupted in Karachi when protesters started heading toward the French consulate, throwing stones at police, who pushed them back with water cannons and tear gas.

And the western criticism?

Agence France-Presse photographer Asif Hassan was shot and wounded, said AFP news director Michele Leridon, although ‘‘his life does not seem in danger.’’ Three other people, including two journalists and one police officer, were treated for minor injuries and released from Jinnah Hospital, said Dr. Seemi Jamali.

About 1,000 people gathered in Islamabad to condemn the French publication. The demonstrators carried signs that read ‘‘Shame on Charlie Hebdo,’’ and ‘‘If you are Charlie, then I am Kouachi’’ — referring to the brothers Cherif and Said Kouachi, who were killed after carrying out the attack on the newspaper office. They had claimed to be sent by Al Qaeda in Yemen.

The demonstrations overshadowed smaller rallies in Islamabad and elsewhere to commemorate the Peshawar school attack one month ago by Taliban gunmen that killed 150 people, many of them children.

Which has proved to be another fake and hoax -- all to advance military tribunals and executions for "terrorists."

"Local Pakistanis rally against terrorism" by Sean P. Murphy, Globe Staff  January 17, 2015

Dozens of Pakistani-Americans and their supporters gathered in sub-freezing temperatures in Copley Square in Boston Friday night in an hourlong vigil intended to call for an end of terrorist violence in the name of Islam or any other religion.

Say again?

“We are a peaceful people making a stand against extremism in any religion, Islam or otherwise,” said Kashif Haqqi, 43, of North Andover, a physician and organizer of the vigil who was accompanied by his four children, ranging in age from 10 to 17.

“We are here to protest terrorism in all of its forms, all of its victims,” he added.

I protest the endless reinforcement of Islamic terrorism from the false-flagging, war-promoting, Jewish War Daily when it's all --all!-- the covert actions of western intelligence agencies and their assets.

The group gathered under a green-and-white crescent-and-star Pakistani flag, and heard calls for peace in English and in Urdu. They came from cities and towns throughout New England.

Those in the crowd carried placards reading, “Stop killing in the name of my Allah,” “The Taliban got it wrong: Islam means peace and love,” and “Je Suis Muslim.” Others carried photographs of Pakistani victims of terrorism at home and abroad.

One placard included a half-dozen photographs of boys with the words “Went to school, never came back,” a reference to the Dec. 16 terrorist attack on the Pakistani Army Public School in Peshawar, where more than 130 boys, age 8 to 18, were slain.

“We are letting the international community know Pakistanis condemn terrorist violence in the strongest terms,” said Beena Sarwar, of Cambridge.

The peaceful Copley Square rally came after violent clashes Friday between Muslim demonstrators and police in protests in Pakistan, Jordan, Algeria, and Niger over the latest caricature of the prophet Mohammed in the French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo. A terrorist attack on the publication’s Paris offices killed 12 people on Jan. 7.

"For Paris gunman, jihad began with invasion of Iraq" by Rukmini Callimachi and Jim Yardley, New York Times  January 18, 2015

PARIS — Two jihadis in black, sheathed in body armor, gave a global audience a demonstration in terror.

Yeah, we got something, all right. A staged and scripted production.

Walking with military precision into the guarded Paris offices of the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo on Jan. 7, they killed 12 people. Then in the hours before the brothers died in a gunfight with the police, Chérif Kouachi nonchalantly took a telephone call from a reporter to make sure the world knew they were carrying out the attack on behalf of Al Qaeda’s branch in Yemen.

The 10-year evolution from easily spooked amateur to hardened killer is a story of steadily deepening radicalism that occurred despite surveillance efforts by French authorities, who twice had Chérif in their grasp.

Meaning he was either a patsy or a willing operative.

*******************

Much remains unclear about the suspects’ lives. But thousands of pages of legal documents obtained by The New York Times — including minutes of interrogations, summaries of phone taps, intercepted jailhouse letters, and a catalog of images and religious texts found on the laptops of Chérif Kouachi and Amedy Coulibaly — reveal an arc of radicalization that saw them become steadily more professional and more discreet.

If you want cover story crapola and outright lies from the Jew York Times, be my guest.

After at least one of the Kouachis traveled to Yemen in 2011, the United States alerted French authorities. But three years of tailing the brothers yielded nothing, and an oversight panel said the surveillance was no longer productive, said Louis Caprioli, the deputy head of France’s domestic antiterror unit from 1998 to 2004.

The brothers appeared so nonthreatening that surveillance was dropped last year, he said, as hundreds of young Muslims cycled back and forth to Syria for jihad and French authorities shifted priorities.

“The system is overwhelmed,” said Jean-Charles Brisard, a terrorism expert who had been a counsel to France’s chief antiterrorism prosecutor.

By the time the brothers burst through the heavy metal doors of Charlie Hebdo, the newspaper that had repeatedly lampooned the prophet Mohammed, even their relatives were shocked.

“The only way I can make sense of this,” Khadija Hamyd, Chérif Kouachi’s sister-in-law, said, “is to say that he was leading a double life.”

The brothers moved to Paris around 2000, staying in an apartment in the 19th Arrondissement, a working-class neighborhood heavy populated with newly arrived Muslim immigrants from France’s former colonies in North Africa.

Chérif Kouachi got a job delivering pizzas. Then, after the US invasion of Iraq in 2003, the brothers began attending prayers at the Adda’wa Mosque on Rue de Tanger. It was here that the Kouachi brothers met Farid Benyettou, then 22, the son of Algerian immigrants.

To the impressionable Chérif, Benyettou’s devoutness was striking. Benyettou incited young men to join jihad. He set up a pipeline for young French Muslims to travel to join Abu Musab al-Zarqawi’s network in Iraq, which would soon become Al Qaeda’s franchise in the region, according to a detailed account in the court files.

It was Chérif who began clamoring to stage an attack in France.

“Chérif never stopped talking about the Jewish shops, of attacking them in the street in order to kill them,” said his friend and co-conspirator Thamer Bouchnak during his deposition. “He talked obsessively about this — about doing something here in France.”

“He asked Farid Benyettou if it was allowed,” Bouchnak added. “He wanted to have permission from the person who had taught him. Farid didn’t give his permission.”

"Belgium deploys paratroopers after breaking up terror plot; Security tighter; Greece detains four suspects" by Andrew Higgins and Maia de la Baume, New York Times  January 18, 2015

SEE: Preparing a new Gladio for the Left in Greece!

Looks like they got the point.

BRUSSELS — Tightening security around Jewish sites, embassies, and other potential terrorist targets, Belgium deployed scores of paratroopers on Saturday in Brussels, the capital, and in the port city of Antwerp, a diamond-trading center with a large Orthodox Jewish population.

It was the first time Belgian troops had been mobilized on the streets in more than two decades. The measures followed a police raid in the east of the country Thursday that killed two men suspected of planning what officials said was an imminent and substantial terrorist attack.

The foiled plot added to fears across Europe that jihadis, particularly Europeans who have returned home after fighting in Syria or Iraq alongside the Islamic State and other extremist groups, are planning attacks similar to, or inspired by, the recent rampage carried out in France by three Muslim extremists.

Phoque off.

But Belgian officials say they have so far found no link between the attack they say was being planned from a militant hideout in the eastern town of Verviers and the Paris attacks on the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo, a police patrol, and a kosher supermarket.

At the US Embassy in Brussels, two Belgian soldiers from the Third Parachute Battalion said they had arrived Saturday as part of a security operation coordinated with the police. Troops also stood guard outside the Jewish Museum here, the scene of an attack in May by a French jihadi who had returned from Syria.

Related: Shooting at Belgium Jewish Museum is a Hoax

It's beginning to look like most of what is presented in my ma$$ media is in fact just that.

But the troops were barely visible in much of the city, which is home to the headquarters of both the European Union and NATO. The Belgian news media quoted Defense Minister Steven Vandeput as saying that the initial deployment involved only 150 soldiers and that the number would rise to 300 in the coming days if necessary.

The Belgian government, led by Prime Minister Charles Michel, made the decision to mobilize troops at a meeting of ministers and security officials on Friday after Belgium elevated its terrorism alert to three from two, on a scale of one to four. The level was raised Thursday after the police raided what they believed was a jihadi cell in Verviers, killing two suspects in a gunfight and finding weapons, police uniforms, and walkie-talkies.

A third man who was in the building at the time was arrested and, according to news outlets, denied involvement, saying he had gone to the suspected terrorist hideaway simply to smoke marijuana with friends.

Oh, no, more pious pot-smoking jihadis!

Puh-phoqueing-pleeze!

The police have since rounded up more than a dozen other people in Brussels and elsewhere, including several returnees from Syria, as part of what Eric van der Sypt of the federal prosecutor’s office said was a major police operation to head off “plans to assassinate policemen in the street” or at a police station.

What, they don't like thug enforcers over there, either?

A Belgian newspaper, Derniere Heure, reported Saturday that investigators had identified the possible mastermind of the disrupted plot as Abdel-hamid Abaaoud, a 27-year-old Belgian of Moroccan descent from the Molenbeek district, where the police have raided a number of homes and made at least nine arrests in recent days.

The newspaper said Abaaoud, also known as Abou Omar Soussi, was not believed to be in Belgium but in Greece or Turkey. He is well known to authorities after the release early last year by Islamic State militants in Syria of a video that showed him in a pickup truck dragging four corpses.

PFFFFFFFFFFFTTTT!!!!

Greek authorities on Saturday detained four terrorism suspects.

Belgian authorities said that information sent from Athens so far has not indicated that those suspects were involved in a Belgian jihadi cell.

A Greek police official earlier said one of those detained matched the description of a suspect Belgian authorities linked to the dismantled cell. But after initial vetting in Brussels, van der Sypt said the information they received showed there was no link.

The Greek official, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the ongoing inquiry, said the ‘‘investigation is ongoing. We are in touch with the Belgians.’’

The Belgian Islamist movement gained worldwide attention in May when four people were killed at the Jewish Museum of Brussels by a French gunman, who authorities said had spent most of 2013 in Syria.

All bullshit!

Several months later, eight members of the radical Islamist group Sharia4Belgium appeared in court charged with belonging to a terrorist organization and recruting young men to fight abroad.

Many of the Belgian radicals fighting in Iraq and Syria are believed to have joined the Islamic State and the Nusra Front, Al Qaeda’s affiliate in Syria.

BRUSSELS — Belgian authorities stepped up their search for the organizer of a foiled plot to kill police officers, authorities said Sunday, as hundreds of soldiers fanned out across the country to protect high-profile targets.

Police released three women detained last week as part of an effort to stop an attack that security officials said was hours or days away from happening. But nine people remained in custody for further questioning, and the ringleader was still on the run, Belgian Justice Minister Koen Geens said.

The intense hunt for the fugitive underlined the challenge that European nations face in policing their large, porous territory.

European Union foreign ministers plan to meet Monday to discuss the rising threat of homegrown Islamist militancy, which was thrown into relief after three Frenchmen claiming ties to Al Qaeda and the Islamic State killed 17 people in and around Paris over three days of violence this month.

I'm sick of this movie and script.

Belgian authorities said they halted a separate plot last week connected to returnees from the fighting in Syria, which has turned into a worldwide magnet for militants seeking to establish an Islamic caliphate.

Who enabled them?

In Brussels, additional raids took place on Sunday connected to the attack attempt, although no arrests were made, a spokesman for the Belgian federal prosecutor said.

Three hundred Belgian soldiers were posted around the country to protect potential targets of attack, according to a statement from the office of Prime Minister Charles Michel.

Greek police said a day earlier that they had detained several people in Athens on suspicion that they were connected to the Belgian plot. On Sunday evening, Belgian prosecutors asked for one person to be extradited.

‘‘The arrests that took place yesterday evening were unable to apprehend the right person. We continue to search actively, and I expect it will succeed,’’ Geens told the broadcaster VRT.

Belgium’s Derniere Heure newspaper reported that police are seeking a Belgian man of Moroccan background named Abdelhamid Abaaoud, 27, also known as Abou Omar Soussi, who traveled to Syria to join the Islamic State.

Abaaoud has been known to authorities for some time and was featured in March in a video that showed him driving a car in Syria with a dead body dragging behind it. Belgian authorities have refused to confirm that they are seeking him.

Separately on Sunday, Italian Interior Minister Angelino Alfano said that his country had expelled nine alleged Islamist militants since late December and that it expected to send away more.

‘‘Those expelled . . . were here for years, and two of these involved their respective families, sending them into Syria to fight,’’ Alfano said, according to the Associated Press. He said 59 people had traveled from Italy to Syria to fight.

The attacks this month have quickly polarized Europe, as politicians vow a crackdown and Islamic communities say they are being unfairly targeted for the violence of an extremist few.

French authorities banned an anti-Islamist rally intended for Sunday, fearing that it could stir violence.

So much for free speech that they are allegedly defending!!!!

In Germany, a weekly anti-Islam protest that has been drawing tens of thousands of supporters was called off for Monday after an organizer received death threats. The group, known as Pegida, or Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamization of the West, has held weekly protests this month in the eastern city of Dresden that have grown steadily larger.

It's the same old crowd.

Melanie Dittmer, a Pegida activist from Duesseldorf who organizes the movement in western Germany, was among those present for the news conference.

Wearing a bulletproof vest, Dittmer said she had been personally attacked and organizing the group’s rallies had become ‘‘physically dangerous.’’

In Britain, Home Secretary Theresa May urged more action to fight anti-Semitism amid fears in the Jewish community after the Paris attacks.

I'm tired of their whining and people bending over backward for them based on all these frauds. Phoque them!!!

In Pakistan on Sunday, several political and religious groups protested for a fourth day against what they call blasphemous caricatures of the prophet Mohammed in the French magazine Charlie Hebdo, the AP reported.

Authorities declined to say where in the United States the alleged offense occurred. The South East Organized Crime Unit says it worked with the FBI in the investigation into the alleged activities of the man from Southport, a seaside town in northwest England. The man, who was not identified, was arrested on suspicion of unauthorized access to computer material and threats to kill."

"Spy vs. Spy: President Obama, David Cameron announce ‘Cambridge v. Cambridge’ hackathon" by
Nidhi Subbaraman

President Barack Obama and British Prime Minister David Cameron announced a hackathon on Friday that is panning out to be the great cybersecurity smackdown of 2015. The pair are pitting wonks and nerds on either side of the Atlantic against each other in a battle called “Cambridge v. Cambridge.”

Representing the US will be MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, who will go up against the computer science engineers from the University of Cambridge in the UK.

The event is part of a wider cybersecurity alliance between the two countries, also announced last week. That collaboration will include co-developing cyber defense strategies, securing core infrastructures, and supporting research. The friendly face-off is a part of that last effort.

Though there’s been a longstanding rivalry about “which Cambridge is the better one” real chances to go head-to-head have been few, said Howard Shrobe, a professor at MIT who will administer the challenge. “They don’t play the same football as we do,” Shrobe said, speaking of past opportunities for competition between the two cities. Besides this hackathon, he said, “The only one I can think of is crew.”

The hackathon is likely to take the form of a hackers’ “capture the flag” adventure. Each team will race as they seek access to coded secrets, while earning points for offensive and defensive strategies. Much of the event is still in the planning stage, however, and Shrobe hopes to find corporate sponsors to fund it.

The two countries are also funding a new Fulbright Cyber Security Award, whose recipients will have the freedom to conduct six-months worth of research in this area. Applications for this program will open later this year, for the first awardees to begin work in 2016.

In November last year, MIT’s CSAIL announced a $15 million research award from the Hewlett Foundation to research law and regulations around new technology like self-driving cars and autonomous flying drones. Shrobe said he hopes to expand the reach of the event beyond just a tech jam, and include policy wonks too.

"European leaders urge alliance with Muslim nations to fight terrorism" by Andrew Higgins, New York Times  January 20, 2015

BRUSSELS — European foreign ministers called Monday for Europe to form an alliance against Islamic extremism with the countries of North Africa and Muslim nations such as Yemen, where at least one of the gunmen responsible for attacks this month in Paris received training.

Sure would be nice if those same countries stopped creating them all over the place.

The ministers met in Brussels, a city patrolled since Saturday by Belgian paratroopers as part of stepped-up precautions against terrorism.

Just in time for the meeting, huh? I'll bet there are no anti-austerity protests.

“We need an alliance, a dialogue, because we are all facing the same threat,” Federica Mogherini, the European Union’s foreign affairs chief, said at a news conference at the end of the one-day meeting of ministers.

Yup.

In an effort to increase counterterrorism cooperation both inside Europe and with countries outside the bloc, particularly those in the Muslim world, the 28-nation European alliance will assign security attachés at its diplomatic missions overseas, Mogherini said.

Didier Reynders, the foreign minister of Belgium, where authorities last week said they had foiled an imminent terrorist attack with a raid on a house in the east of the country, said the European Union needed to increase intelligence sharing and other cooperation with countries such as Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, and Tunisia to help curb radicalization and violent extremism.

Many Muslims living in Belgium and France, including the two brothers involved in the attack on the French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo and the reported ringleader of the foiled Belgian plot, trace their origins to North Africa.

**********

The police in Greece, which is also a European Union member, said Monday that a 33-year-old Algerian had been detained in Athens in connection with the Belgian plot and that Belgium had requested his extradition.

The Belgian government says the terrorist operation was thwarted when police officers on Thursday shot dead two suspects in the town of Verviers, near the German border.

The authorities have declined to name the dead men, and the Belgian news media, citing official sources, have issued contradictory reports about their identities, a confusion that has raised questions about who was present in the house at the time of the raid.

They can't even get their cock-and-bull cover story crapola straight!

A third man who escaped from the house without injury, Marouane el Bali, has denied any involvement in terrorism and has said he went there for a drug deal. He is now under arrest.

Reynders and other ministers called for the establishment of a European system for exchanging passenger information, similar to one introduced in the United States after the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

Proposals for such a program in Europe were put forward years ago but were stalled because of opposition from the European Parliament, where many lawmakers worried about violating citizens’ privacy.

Everything clear now, cui bono?

Under the program, information about seat numbers, flight reservation dates, payment methods, and travel itineraries would be exchanged.

RelatedFrance to boost measures in terrorism fight

Plenty of money to "fight" self-created enemies and phantoms.

"With the deaths of the three French officers during three days of terror in the Paris region and the suggestion of a plot to kill police in Belgium, European law enforcement agencies are rethinking how — and how many — police should be armed.

We are having that same debate here. Hands Up! Don't Shoot!

Scotland Yard said Sunday it was increasing the deployment of officers allowed to carry firearms in Britain, where many cling to the image of the unarmed ‘‘bobby.’’ In Belgium, where officials say a terror network was plotting to attack police, officers are again permitted to take their service weapons home. On Monday, French law enforcement officials, demanding heavier weapons, protective gear, and a bolstered intelligence apparatus, met with top officials from the Interior Ministry. An official with the ministry, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss ongoing talks, said automatic weapons and heavier bulletproof vests were being considered. Among the most horrific images from the Paris attacks was the death of police officer Ahmed Merabet, who can be seen on eyewitness video lying wounded as a gunman approaches and fires a final bullet into his head."

Except that video is a complete fake and fraud -- and yet here it is being cited as evidence by this dog$hit media.

And you wonder why I don't believe a thing?

Reynders suggested that such a system could have helped prevent an attack in May on the Jewish Museum in Brussels that left four people dead. The main suspect in that case, Mehdi Nemmouche, traveled from France to Syria before returning to Belgium, Reynders said.

“If we don’t know the route, if we don’t have the chance to follow people step by step, we can’t make progress,” he said.

Shortly after the shooting in Brussels last year, the French authorities arrested Nemmouche during a routine customs check as he arrived by bus in Marseille from Brussels still carrying an assault rifle and a revolver, police said.

Mogherini, the foreign affairs chief, said the European Union would intensify efforts to block the financing of terrorism, another program inspired by measures taken by the United States but long stalled by privacy and other concerns.

All this reinforcing propaganda is sickening.

She said European officials would meet in the coming days with officials from the United States, Canada, Japan, and other nations to discuss ways to counter the financing of the Islamic State militant group.

Maybe western intelligence agencies should stop that.

Several thousand young European Muslims have traveled to Syria and Iraq to join the Islamic State and other extremist groups, a jihadi pipeline that has helped spread extremist views inside Europe and raised fears that fighters will return home to carry out attacks.

The foreign ministers’ meeting was the first of senior European Union officials since worries across Europe that Muslim extremists might be gearing up for more attacks.

Well, it's been a week!!!

"In Paris terrorist’s neighborhood, fears of more in the pipeline" by John Leicester, Associated Press  January 20, 2015

GRIGNY, France — The housing project that was home to Amedy Coulibaly is a concrete labyrinth so scary that doctors refuse to make house calls and mail workers won’t deliver parcels. Drug dealers and teenage thugs hold sway over the blighted neighborhood.

Even the police venture only with caution into the Grande Borne, especially after dark. The project’s maze of serpentine, run-down buildings housing 11,000 people gives gangs plenty of cover to mount ambushes against officers with pump-action shotguns and gasoline bombs.

It would be simplistic to argue that Coulibaly — a partner of the Charlie Hebdo attackers, killer of a policewoman and four hostages at a kosher store — became a terrorist because he grew up in this enclave of high unemployment and crime where the authority of the French state is weak.

But the war-promoting Jewish media will do just that.

Many from the Grande Borne and his generation are not criminals. One of Coulibaly’s sisters is making her name as a dancer. A former classmate is a financial comptroller, another helps manage the career of 2005 hurdles world champion Ladji Doucoure.

‘‘Our towns are not terrorist factories,’’ Philippe Rio, the mayor who also grew up in the Grande Borne, insisted in an interview.

But Coulibaly’s former kick-boxing coach in the Grande Borne, Rombo Togbahoun, fears there are more like him in the pipeline.

‘‘Look at those kids out there with their hoodies,’’ he said. ‘‘We’re only seeing the start of the problem. That was just the first Amedy Coulibaly. There are lots of little Coulibalys.’’

And Trayvon Martins.

"5 arrested in counterrorism raid in France" by Dan Bilefsky, New York Times  January 28, 2015

PARIS — French counterterrorism police Tuesday raided the southern town of Lunel and arrested five people in an operation aimed at rooting out a suspected jihadi network, a senior police official said.

Christophe Crépin, a spokesman for the UNSA police union, said the arrests were part of a continuing effort to combat terrorism after the deadly attacks this month in and near Paris. “It’s only the beginning,” Crépin said.

**********

Bernard Cazeneuve, the interior minister, said in a statement that five people ages 26 to 44 had been arrested in Lunel on suspicion of being part of a jihadi network that was indoctrinating youth.

What do you do when you have respected cultural and media in$titutions of society doing that?

Cazeneuve said if those arrested turned out to be part of a jihadi recruitment network, then the police had dismantled a “particularly dangerous and organized cell.” He said authorities were mobilized on “all fronts” to defend against terrorism.

That they themselves have created (usually what it turns out to be)!!

Cazeneuve said the fight against terrorism was reinforced by tough new counterterrorism measures taken by the government, including plans to spend more than $490 million to create more than 2,500 new counterterrorism jobs.

As the French people are under the lash of Hollande's austerity and military empire.

Antiterrorism prosecutors in Paris have been investigating whether Lunel has been infiltrated by a jihadi or sleeper cell network like the so-called Buttes-Chaumont group. That network once provided fighters to battle US troops in Iraq, and it was a training ground for at least one of the men behind the recent terrorist attacks.

Lunel, a town of 25,700, has been under scrutiny by counterterrorism authorities after it was discovered last year that six local Muslims had been killed while fighting in Syria from among 20 youths from Lunel, between the ages of 18 and 30, who had left to fight jihad. The town’s authorities have been grappling to understand how Lunel, in the picturesque Languedoc wine-growing region, has become a breeding ground for jihadis.

Across Europe, countries are struggling to cope with thousands of European citizens who have left to join militant groups in Syria and Iraq, including the Islamic State. The issue is particularly acute in France, where last year more than 1,000 people left or planned to leave to wage jihad, fanning fears that newly radicalized citizens could return to launch attacks in France.

You buying any of this anymore?

Agence France-Presse, citing witnesses in the area, said counterterrorism officers had carried out the raid at 6 a.m. at a building in the center of town.

“Several unmarked cars drew up,” a resident was quoted by the agency as saying. “Masked men got out and smashed in the doors to the apartments in the building.”

Oh, really? Then how do you know the guys in the videos from Paris.... ?????
