Following a Flowering Florida Business

My take is the kids simply saw or experienced an elite pedophile ring of murderous sex abusers and tried to get in on the action:

"Fla. youths face child porn charges" Associated Press  February 14, 2015

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. — Police are asking parents to check the online accounts of their children after three young adolescents were accused of creating an Instagram account to solicit and post explicit photos of other minors.

Pembroke Pines officers arrested two boys, ages 12 and 13, and a 13-year-old girl on Thursday after a 10-week investigation in the Fort Lauderdale suburb. They face juvenile court charges of electronic transmission of child pornography.

The department ‘‘urges the community to pay close attention to their children’s online activity,’’ Sergeant Angela Goodwin said Thursday.

Police say the social media account prompted its 500 followers to post nude and sexually explicit photos of minors to ‘‘expose’’ them. The posts included their names and personal information. Many followers posted cruel comments in response to the images....

I don't allow comments; this is an information and analysis site for educational purposes. You can take it or leave it (just as I am free to take or leave the Globe).

As for that stuff, I'm far too behind or busy with the Boston Globe to do much of anything else other than get delayed by my blog roll to the right.
