The Grapes of Web

Maybe all I need is a couple days off....

"The health of a 21-year-old Vermont woman will be monitored for months after she was bitten by a black widow spider that her family says was hiding in a bag of grapes. WCAX-TV reported that the Colchester resident spent Friday night at the University of Vermont Medical Center after being treated for the bite. The woman’s mother said her daughter reached into a bag of grapes and the spider crawled up her arm and bit her. She said they caught the spider and brought it to the hospital with her daughter. Representatives from Shaw’s supermarket in Colchester, which sold her the grapes, said they are inspecting the produce in their stores."

Sorry I'm sour on the Globe these days and for holding on to an anger that just won't seem to melt after the long, cool spring. Better find some shade so I can cool back off.

I will be spending the rest of the month preparing some wonderful posts for presentation next fall. Have a good summer!
